The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is reportedly nearing a deal with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) to share tax data of undocumented immigrants. Under the proposed agreement, Ice would access the IRS database to identify and deport undocumented immigrants, raising concerns about abuse of power and erosion of privacy rights.
